Have you heard of Ban Bossy? It’s the new initiative from Lean In and the Girl Scouts that’s trying to ban “bossy” and similar words that are used to bring down girls that are ambitious, take risks, and speak up. By changing the way we treat girls who lead, hopefully our generation will someday see more women in leadership roles.

You can watch the 1:00 video with Beyonce, Jane Lynch, Condeleeza Rice, and Jennifer Garner here, or visit the Ban Bossy website

The last time Castiel graced our TV screens was in Captives, episode 9.14, which aired all the way back in February.
That makes us kind of grumpy.
BUT GUESS WHAT?!
TUESDAY APRIL 15TH CAS IS BACK!
We at the Castiel Fan Network want to give him a warm welcome, and we want to do that the best way we know how, with a ratings boosting twitter watch party!
Here’s how you can help:-If you are in a Nielsen houshold, watch live on your television. This is how US television ratings are measured. If you’re not sure if you’re a Nielsen household, you’re not. But there are still ways to make your watching count towards ratings!-Record the episode on your DVR even if you do watch live. DVR viewings are counted into Nielsen numbers. Make sure to watch the recording as soon as possible, the earlier you watch the more it counts for the Live +7 and Live +3 Nielsen numbers. -If you don’t have a DVR and can’t watch live, instead of watching an unofficial stream or download, watch (or rewatch) the episode on the official CW Supernatural site. Those viewings count towards ratings too. The episode is normally posted to the website at or shortly after midnight EST. -Another way to help is to boost the Nielsen twitter ratings. Tweet the episode using the #Supernatural hashtag. Per this article, Nielsen starts counting tweets for an episode 3 hours before airtime, and continues counting for 3 hours after the episode ends, so that gives you 7 hours to hop on twitter and give Castiel your support by using the #Supernatural hashtag. In addition, in the time since our last watch party for 9.17, we found out that Nielsen continues counting views of tweets until 5AM EST the following morning, so if you’re awake all night, keep on retweeting those #Supernatural tweets! Remember to manually type, or copy and paste #Supernatural so it doesn’t autocomplete to the fake #Supernaturai tag!-Only US based tweets count, BUT retweets hold the same weight as original tweets, so if you have international friends watching and tweeting with the #Supernatural hashtag retweet them so they’ll count too. If you are watching from outside of the US, use the hashtag so we can retweet you! Add OUSA to your tweets to make it even easier, that way your US friends will know just what to do!-Another thing to keep in mind, per twitter analytics, tweets with more than two hashtags can be flagged as spam, so stick with just #Supernatural and whatever secondary tag you choose! Our friends at @Destiel_Network paired up with our friends at @SaveCastiel and are attempting to trend #HelloCas which we think is a great option for a second tag. Just remember to stick to two tags total, we want your tweets to count! When we had our watch party for 9.17 in support of Misha’s directorial debut Supernatural made it into the top 5 for Nielsen twitter ratings that night at #5, and Supernatural was the top rated CW show that week!
We want to do even better to welcome Castiel back!-The Castiel Fan Networkon twitter @angelwarriorcas

Please reblog, reblog, reblog! As we wait for word on Misha’s status for S10 it’s so important to show our enthusiasm for Castiel!
Two days to Cas-time! Let’s make our Cas love known with amazing ratings!

Tomorrow! Cas comes back! SO EXCITED!

Make Your Move is an effort from Missoula’s Intervention in Action Project, a group of community organizations dedicated to ending sexual violence. Its campaign’s goals are to: 1) Engage men and women as allies to prevent sexual violence by increasing awareness and education about the dynamics of sexual violence and 2) Encourage bystanders to foster healthy non-violent relationships and interrupt attitudes, language and actions that support sexual violence.

Reblogging this so hard
